Technical information
Description of the procedure:
- Close the stop-cock for cold water towards the hot water
- Drain away water from the hot water pipe.
- Next, connect the feed from the decalcifying pump to the point where the cold water enters the water heater.
- Connect the return pipe to the water outlet, for example the bath, the toilet, the kitchen, the bidet, guest toilet, etc. .
- This will create a closed circuit that passes through the tank of the decalcifying pump.
- As a result, the calcium in the tank is neutralized.
- This neutralized decalcifying liquid is introduced once again into the circuit until it ceases to produce any effect, i.e. until you no longer observe effects such as the formation of foam, brownish or blackish water.
- The decalcifying process will have finalized once the decalcifying liquid is seen to be as transparent as the liquid entering.
- Then the decalcifying liquid is eliminated from the hot water pipes, and is collected in the tank of the decalcifier.
- The pipes are immediately rinsed through with cold water to eliminate any residue of the decalcifying liquid.
