When it rains, the soft rainwater filters though the earth, becoming enriched by minerals on the way, such as calcium.

The water becomes hard due to a high calcium content. Large amounts of calcium become incrusted in pipes and on appliances, deteriorating them over the course of time. This in consequence brings about higher energy costs and expensive repair-work.

The solution: Decalcification

All appliances that generate hot water, boilers, water-heaters, heat exchangers, conditioning systems and many others, attract calcium incrustation like a magnet. These calcium deposits can be prevented by fitting expensive, sophisticated filtration systems, but this will not avoid the intervention of technical maintenance specialists as these filters have to be replaced every year or every 18 months; at the very least the system will need servicing. Summary:

 

The quality of the water supply does not only depend on ensuring the supply, but also to a large extent on the quality of the water itself . For some time now in Germany, hotels, public institutions such as town halls or schools, railway stations and other public buildings are obliged to perform regular maintenance and decalcification servicing for their hot water installations.

 

The annoying scale found on water-heating elements, in filters and equipment, is composed of several minerals found in dissolved form in the earth. These particles of calcium can be eliminated using expensive, sophisticated equipment, but these also require complicated maintenance.

 

For domestic use, but also in hotels, restaurants and public buildings, we recommend using the pumping system developed in Germany that enables entire pipe systems and hot water appliances to be completely decalcified. This method does not need any kind of dismantling of the existing system.
