Mode of functioning
At contact between calcareous water and the Anti-limegranulate, lime crystals are being build on the surface of the catalyser bowl. These crystals grow through the absorption of hardness creators that are dissolved in the water until they are “big” enough to be removed and washed away by the water flow. During this process these “vaccinating” crystals grow to a maximum size of appr. 30 µm and remain floating in the water, without changing it chemically. They will not cling to surfaces, pipelines, fittings or open-outlet water heaters.
